There is a moment in every student and teacher's journey when the practice deepens…
When yoga stops being something you do
and becomes something you live.
This 10-day immersion is an invitation into that space.
What is this training?
This is not a traditional Yoga Teacher Training.
It is a devotional immersion into the teachings of The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali through the lens of yin yoga, meditation, chanting, and stillness.
Over ten days together in Bali, we will slow down…
We will sit with the sutras.
We will feel them in the body.
We will experience them - not just intellectually, but energetically.
This training is rooted in my signature method:
Resting with the Sutras
Where philosophy meets practice.

Who is this 10-Day Immersion for?
This training is for you if:
-
You’ve practiced yoga for years and are craving to understand the philosophy behind the practice and depth beyond asana
-
You want to understand the Yoga Sutras in a way that actually applies to your life
-
You feel called to slow down, soften, and reconnect
-
You’re a teacher who wants to offer more meaningful, intentional classes
-
You’re on a healing or recovery journey and want a spiritual framework to support it
You do not need to be flexible.
You do not need to be a teacher.
You just need to be willing to listen.

Alexandra
Alexandra McRobert is a yoga teacher, educator, and founder of Mindful Bali, a boutique yoga school and retreat space in Bali, Indonesia.
She began practicing yoga as a child, and completed her first 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yandara Yoga Institute in Mexico in 2014. In 2017 she travelled to Indonesia where she completed her 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Zuna Yoga. Since then she has studied with various teachers around the world. She considers her current mentor Rolf Gates as one of her biggest teaching influences.
She specializes in yoga philosophy, vinyasa and yin yoga, meditation, chanting and kirtan, and trauma-informed teaching, with a focus on supporting women in moving forwards after addiction, burnout, and mental health challenges. Her work bridges ancient wisdom with modern recovery, integrating the teachings of The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and Buddhist philosophy into accessible, embodied practices.
Alexandra has trained over 200 yoga teachers through her 200-hour and advanced teacher training programs. She has also worked for other yoga schools on their Yoga Teacher Training faculty in Bali including Inner Yoga, Sky Yoga and Radiantly Alive. Her teaching style blends vinyasa and yin yoga with meditation, pranayama, journaling, and circle facilitation, creating spaces that are both structured and deeply personal.
As a sober woman with over seven years of recovery, Alexandra is the voice behind “Sober Yoga Girl,” a podcast and substack dedicated to helping women transform their lives through yoga and sobriety. She is also the author of Sober Yoga Girl and teaches internationally through retreats, trainings, and online programs.
Her work is rooted in the belief that yoga is not just a physical practice - but a path toward freedom, self-understanding, and inner peace.

ID
Id's journey in Yoga began in 2014, when she stepped onto the mat for her first class. From that moment on, she knew that yoga was more than just a physical practice; it was a way of life. Despite juggling work and study, she dedicated herself to exploring and deepening her practice, knowing that this was her true passion.
As her love for Yoga grew, Id made the bold decision to leave her job and focus on teaching full-time. In 2015, she completed her first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at The Yoga Barn. Since then, she has continued to expand her knowledge, studying Yin Yoga, Kashmir Shaivism, Mantra, and Assisting on Yoga Teacher Trainings.
For Id, teaching Yoga is not just a job, but a lifelong journey of learning and growth. As she shares her knowledge with her students, she continues to learn and evolve her own practice. Her teaching philosophy can be summed up in her own words: "My teaching is my learning, my learning is my teaching"
Id's inherent Bhakti nature, passion for Yoga and dedication to her students have made her a highly respected and sought-after teacher. She inspires her students to explore their own practice and to embrace yoga as a way of life. Whether she's leading a class or practicing on her own, Id is always eager to learn and grow - and she brings that same spirit of curiosity and exploration to her teaching.
