There is a moment on the path where yoga stops being something you practice…
and becomes something you live.
This Retreat & Training is for that moment.
For the women who feel called to:
-
lead women's, sober or general sharing circles
-
hold space beyond an asana class
-
share music
-
and create alcohol-free, heart-centered communities
This is not just a kirtan training.
This is not just a facilitation course.
This is a devotional leadership immersion.

Who is this 10-Day Immersion for?
This training is for you if…
-
You feel a deep calling to hold space for others, but don’t fully know how yet
-
You are sober or sober-curious, and want to build connection without alcohol
-
You’ve experienced your own healing journey and feel ready to support others on theirs
-
You want to lead circles - women’s circles, sharing circles, recovery spaces - but need the tools and confidence
-
You feel drawn to kirtan, chanting, or devotional practices, even if you’ve never led before
-
You want to find your voice and move through fear of being seen or heard
-
You’re a yoga teacher (or aspiring teacher) who wants to go beyond asana and into deeper work
-
You want to create meaningful, alcohol-free events, retreats, or communities
-
You’re craving authentic connection - not surface-level, but real, honest, heart-led spaces
-
You feel called to live your yoga, not just practice it
This Training May Not Be For You If…
-
You’re only looking to learn harmonium or chanting as a hobby
-
You’re not open to personal reflection, emotional depth, or inner work
-
You prefer a purely physical yoga training without philosophy or sharing
-
You’re not interested in exploring sobriety, conscious connection, or community leadership

Alexandra
Hi! I am Alexandra, and I am the Lead Teacher at Mindful Bali. I have been teaching yoga since 2014 and living in Bali, Indonesia since 2021. Originally from Canada, I dreamed of following a career in yoga, but I didn't see how it would be financially possible. I got a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education in university, and immediately started teaching right after I graduated in the Middle East at International Private Schools.
I can only describe the feeling I had when I came to Bali for the first time as a feeling of coming home. That was in 2017. I then dreamed about the move to Bali for a long time. It was only when I quit drinking alcohol in 2019 that I was able to really start to focus my energy towards moving in the direction of working in yoga full time and moving towards Bali. In just two years I built up my online yoga community, The Mindful Life Practice, enough so that I could sustainably quit my job and move to Bali - and start running retreats and yoga teacher trainings here. Eventually I was able to build my own yoga shala, Mindful Bali, in my home in Pejeng. Now I live here full time, teaching regular classes and hosting events. I would love to meet you - either for a retreat, a training, or just dropping in for a class!

Vasudev
Vasudev was given his name by the Indian guru Swami Shyam in 1990. Since then, he has been gathering people in sacred circles to chant, dance, meditate and sing in praise of life.
A dedicated student of Eastern philosophy and spiritual practice, his repertoire includes traditional bhajans and devotional songs, along with his original melodies
and reggae hits. His catalogue of music has been discovered by millions of listeners around the world.

Deanna Beauty
With a voice that is both tender and powerful, Diana guides her audience through realms of stillness, devotion, and ecstasy. Her sacred songs and mantras are invitations to drop into the heart, to listen deeply, and to remember the Divine within. Rooted in many traditions—from bhajans to church choirs—her music bridges cultures and unites souls in shared vibration. Each circle she leads becomes a sanctuary of sound, healing, and joyful presence.
Diana started leading Kirtan in Bali in 2022 and has guided kirtan in major studios in Bali: Yoga Barn, Alchemy, Udara, The Path, Radiantly Alive.
